Château Rouge embodies the estate's grand red cuvée — a refined blend that expresses the full depth of the clay-limestone soils of Jouques. The painting evokes this long-aged, structured and noble wine. The background, in deep garnet, terracotta and velvet black tones, translates the aromatic complexity and tannic weave of the cuvée. Golden touches echo the patina of time, barrel aging, and the winemaker's patience. The central bottle, painted with matter and texture, becomes an intimate monument — a tribute to Peter and Sandra Fischer's work. My gesture integrates estate wine, olive oil and lavender essential oil to anchor the work in its Provençal territory.
