Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern marketplace sales on ArtStandards. Under Stripe Connect (“Buyers purchase from you”), buyers pay ArtStandards. ArtStandards appears on the receipt and handles refunds and payment disputes (chargebacks) toward the buyer and Stripe.

• Original artworks — physical object only, no copyright transfer
• Limited editions & certificates — as stated on the artwork page
• Fine Art & Prodigi prints — made to order; artist owns the print file, lab invoice and redelivery if the buyer refuses
• Commercial licenses — limited usage rights per contract

In addition to SaaS subscriptions, ArtStandards charges a platform commission per sale:

• Originals: 15 %
• Licenses: 20 %
• Prints: 20 %
• Certificates: 10 %

Physical goods ship within 5–15 business days. Made-to-order prints and signed editions are custom goods: no “change of mind” return once production starts. Digital licenses deliver on payment; withdrawal does not apply once accessed, as permitted by law.

Claims within 14 days of delivery (48 hours with photos for transit damage) to legal@artstandards.org. Founder/owner accounts pay 0% ArtStandards commission; card fees remain Stripe’s.

The artist alone warrants authenticity, title, the print master (DPI, crop, colour), packing, export and shipment. Lab invoices (Fine Art, Prodigi or other) and redelivery if the end buyer refuses the parcel are the artist’s cost. The artist indemnifies ArtStandards against chargebacks, lab bills and claims. Amounts so paid are immediately clawed back. ArtStandards’ aggregate liability is capped at commissions actually earned on the order (hence €0 on founder/owner sales) or €100, whichever is higher, except for fraud, willful misconduct, or mandatory consumer law.
